Lempicka is her 14th Broadway show, following notable turns in The Prom, Baby It’s You, Bandstand, Crazy for You, 42nd Street, and more. Regionally, Beth has performed some of the most iconic roles in musical theatre, including ‘Mama Rose’ in Gypsy at The Muny. She has dazzled and delighted sold-out audiences across America with her award-winning cabaret act. The DPAC Rising Star Awards is a regional competition that brings together high school musical theater students from Central and Eastern North Carolina to perform and compete for the chance to represent the Triangle in The National High School Musical Theater (otherwise known as The Jimmy) Awards in New York City on June 24th. The national competition celebrates outstanding student performances in high school musical productions from all over the United States. This year, students from 31 local high schools submitted applications in the hopes of being selected as a Triangle Rising Stars' Top 20 finalist.

BrodwayWorld has learned that Lempicka will close on Broadway May 19th. The production has struggled to find an audience and has had grosses well below those needed to sustain a Broadway musical of its size.
Adam Heller, Jill Abramovitz, Samantha Massell, Hannah Corneau, Emerson Glick, Jed Resnick, Clay Singer and Andrew Alstat are among the stars of the Muny production of Fiddler on the Roof.
