CRAZY FOR YOUô is the story of Bobby Child, a well-to-do 1930's playboy, who's dream in life is to dance. And despite the serious efforts of his mother and soon-to-be-ex-fiancee, Bobby achieves his dream! Memorable Gershwin tunes include I Can't Be Bothered Now, Bidin' My Time, I Got Rhythm, Naughty Baby, They Can't Take That Away from Me, But Not for Me, Nice Work if You Can Get It, Embraceable You and Someone to Watch Over Me. It's a high energy comedy which includes mistaken identity, plot twists, fabulous dance numbers and classic Gershwin music.

Broadway In Austin To Present JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR

Producer Stephen Gabriel/Work Light Productions released today a music video in anticipation of the 50th Anniversary North American tour of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical Jesus Christ Superstar.  The Olivier Award-winning production first premiered in 2016 at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre in London.  The North American tour launches in Austin, TX in the fall of 2019 and celebrates fifty epic years since the original rock opera concept album release that began this musical theatre phenomenon. Cast and Creative Team Announced for World Premiere of ECO VILLAGE

The world premiere of the new off-Broadway play Eco Village has found its cast and design team. Loosely based on the experiences of playwrightPhoebe Nir at the Bread and Puppet Theater, Eco Village explores the complexities of community and the boundaries of human behavior. The show will play at The Theatre at St. Clement's, 423 W. 46th Street, New York, NY 10036 from January 15-February 16 2019. Eco Village will preview from January 15-21, with opening night on January 24. Performances: Monday and Wednesday at 7pm; Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 8pm; and Saturday and Sunday at 3pm. Tickets are $35-69 and can be purchased at ecovillagetheplay.com. (more...)

Originally conceived by Judy Craymer, Mamma Mia! is directed by Artistic Director William Osetek and choreographed by Jane Lanier with music direction by Roberta Duchak. FORREST GUMP'S Joel Sill to Receive Legacy Award at The Guild of Music Supervisors Awards

The Guild of Music Supervisors announced today that industry legend Joel Sill will receive the organization's prestigious Legacy Award for his creative contribution to music in film. Sill's body of work includes Forrest Gump, The Goonies, Blade Runner, The Color Purple, and My Cousin Vinny. Sill will be joined by Spotify's RISE artist, King Princess, who will be performing as this year's Spotlight Artist. The 9th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards will be held on February 13 at The Theater at The Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
