Ben Cohn

Ben was most recently the the Assistant Conductor and Pianist for Wicked on Broadway. He is also the Musical Director/Arranger for American Idol runner up Clay Aiken, Stephanie J. Block, and pop opera recording artist Alfio. Other Broadway credits include: The Woman in White, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, In My Life, and Wonderful Town. Ben has worked on the music teams of The Book of Mormon and 9 to 5 and has conducted many readings and workshops including Anastasia and Finding Neverland. He has arranged and produced music for Disney Cruise Line, Tokyo Disney, Sea World, Busch Gardens and NBC. Ben conducted the Wicked 5th anniversary gala concert, and has Conducted and Arranged The Easter Bonnet and Gypsy of the Year shows for Broadway Cares since 2007. Ben is also an active freelance pianist and composer. He holds degrees from Ithaca college and the NYU Tisch School of the Arts. Ben is really excited to be a part of Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway! He lives in NYC with his husband Sean McDaniel and their son Allister.
