That's right! Jimmy Buffet has asked The Hub City All Stars to open his show with Lionel Richie on July 28 at Comerica Stadium in Detroit! This is an incredible opportunity for the band to strut its stuff to a SOLD OUT crowd of over 50,000 people in the Motor City! Last time we played with Jimmy it was for his Gulf Oil Spill Benefit Concert in Gulf Shores, Alabama. This time he's requesting the boys fly to Detroit to ROCK 'EM SOCK 'EM with our blend of South Louisiana groove. We really appreciate that a musical icon as famous as Jimmy Buffett still has an ear to what's hip and going on with indigenous cultural music from Louisiana! - makes sense...as he's just another brother from the GULF COAST! We are also super excited that pop and soul icon, Lionel Richie, will be rockin' his hits following our show!
