The cast of the John W. Engeman Theater's production of Legally Blonde had a special surprise last week when Original Broadway Cast Member Orfeh made the trip out to Long Island to see the show. Following the performance, Orfeh met the company on stage where they sang out a special version of 'Ireland' - the number she created for the original production. Check out the video!

On May 21 of this year, BroadwayWorld threw a big party at Sony Hall in the heart of the theatre district, celebrating our 20th anniversary year online and in the community. Stars in the House for Ukraine, an 11+ Hour telethon of the weekly streaming show, raised $139,000 for the International Rescue Committee's humanitarian efforts for those affected by the war in Ukraine. That total is inclusive of a generous matching donation by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, which matched the first $50,000 worth of donations.

New York City began its return to live events last night with a celebration of 50 local frontline health care heroes in honor of their service to New York throughout the past year. CLEAR Connects ‘A Night of Heroes,’ in partnership with Union Square Hospitality Group, treated New York’s essential workers with a dinner out on the town at Marta, entertainment from Broadway stars Andy Karl and Orfeh and a show of gratitude from some of the city’s notable residents.

In honor and celebration of Nick's memory, over 150 of his friends, colleagues, and family from all over the world came together to sing the song that will keep Nick in our hearts forever 'One of the Great Ones' from A Bronx Tale. The resulting video was featured during the streaming of the memorial.

Michael Arden (Stage Director) and Stephen Oremus (Music Director) lead this one-night-only performance, featuring a chorus of over 300 singers from across the United States, professional cast and creative team, and the New York City Chamber Orchestra.
