The LGBTQ Horror-Comedy SUMMONING SYLVIA, now playing in twenty-one cities, is hosting a special screening and talkback with the cast on Tuesday, April 4th at 11:40 am at Regal’s flagship cinema in Union Square. Cast members Frankie Grande, Veanne Cox, Noah Ricketts, and Camden Garcia will be discussing the film and taking questions from the audience after the screening.
Written and directed by Wesley Taylor (Smash, The Spongebob Musical, soon to recur on Hulu's 'Only Murders in the Building') and Alex Wyse (Marvel’s Iron Fist, soon to join Broadway's Good Night, Oscar), the LGBTQ horror comedy Summoning Sylvia stars Michael Urie, Frankie Grande, Veanne Cox, and more. The national tour cast of Oklahoma! will perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden tonight. The production stars Sasha Hutchings and Sean Grandillo, joined by Christopher Bannow, Sis, Hennessy Winkler, Benj Mirman, Barbara Walsh, Hannah Solow, Mauricio Lozano, Ugo Chukwu, Jordan Wynn, and more.
It seems everybody is having one of two reactions to Director Daniel Fish’s revival of OKLAHOMA! currently playing at the Ahmanson Theatre. But love it or hate it, so much of this update of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s acclaimed 1943 musical in which a farm girl is courted by two rival suitors, works.
