Noah Brody Biography

NOAH BRODY (Co-Director; Lucinda, Wolf, Cinderella√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs Prince) is an actor, director, writer and teacher. He is a co-artistic director and head of producing for Fiasco Theater. Noah has co-directed Fiasco's productions of Into the Woods, Measure for Measure, Twelfth Night and Cymbeline, which received the 2012 Off Broadway Award for best revival. He has acted in all of Fiasco√Ę‚ā¨‚ĄĘs productions including the Two Gentlemen of Verona. He has acted at theaters around the country and in Europe, appeared shirtless on soaps, headless on a crime drama, and as a dismembered torso on some underwear boxes. He teaches acting, voice and text through Fiasco and the NYU Gallatin School summer Shakespeare Intensive. He is a proud graduate of the Brown-Trinity MFA Acting program.

Theater Latté Da today announces Bethany Brinton, Crystal Manich and Celeste Moreno as the recipients of the NEXT Generation Commission in 2022, furthering Theater Latté Da's commitment to providing opportunities for women artists and BIPOC artists. The NEXT Generation Commission supports the creation and development of new musical theatre projects whose creative teams are at least 50% women artists or BIPOC artists. The creative team will share the $20,000 commission.

Music Theatre Philly, the region's premiere, vibrant training ground for young artists in theatre and dance founded by professional Broadway performers and choreographers, is in the process of developing a world premiere musical based on the true story of the Nickel Mines Amish School shooting, which took place in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. BOUNDLESS, written by theatre artist Mary Fishburne, explores how two teenage girls from vastly different worlds discover that they must be fearless enough to ask the right questions and brave enough to hear the voice from within as it answers. The production, which will feature Music Theatre Philly students from grades 5 through 12, will have a public presentation on Saturday, May 21 at 2PM and 7PM at The Arts Bank (601 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA)
