Nick Padgett

NICK PADGETT is an Award-Winning Producer, Director, Choreographer & Actor, who splits time between Kansas City, Las Vegas, New York & LA. He is the owner of Padgett Productions (currently in its 18th season) an Entertainment Company that produces theatrical productions, concerts, live events & experiences. Nick has been involved in over 200 stage productions & many concerts, special events, etc. too numerous to mention & has performed with virtually every professional theatre company in KC. He is the former Creative Director for Full Moon Productions, who own/operate the Nationally Acclaimed Haunted Attractions located in the KC West Bottoms. He spent a lucky 13 years with the Live Entertainment Dept. at Worlds of Fun (Cedar Fair Entertainment) where his many roles during that time included; Director, Choreographer, Performer and Designer. Nick has previously worked with both AMERICAN IDOL and THE X FACTOR. Through his years of work in the Horror industry, he has had the honor of working with an impressive list of Horror Icons/Celebrities, and being known for his work in the Haunted Attractions Industry, his work has appeared on both the Travel and Discovery Channel, and has traveled the country to work with some of the best Haunted Attractions and Halloween related events in the world, including working with AMC, Fremont Street Experience & TrioTech on the Grand Opening of the FEAR THE WALKING DEAD: SURVIVAL attraction in Las Vegas, where he handled Creative Direction & had the pleasure of working with the shows stars. Nick also had the honor of working on the Creative team for SCARE LA in 2017 & 2018, which was the largest convention of its kind on the West Coast, dedicated to all things Halloween. He was also a Producer for the epic Horror Documentary, IN SEARCH OF DARKNESS II, which features the most iconic names in Horror. New York credits include; Producing the highly acclaimed Actors Fund benefit that reunited the Original Broadway Casts of GREASE, NINE & GRAND HOTEL, Working on multiple developmental presentations of JAWBREAKER THE MUSICAL with such stars as Kate Flannery, Elizabeth Gillies, Diana DeGarmo, Jinkx Monsoon & Frankie James Grande, and various developmental productions of REEFER MADNESS THE MUSICAL with such stars as Lena Hall & Ethan Slater. Nick has worked with a long list of celebrity talent on cabarets, shows and special events, with one if his favorites being when he produced Cloris Leachman's one woman show. Film credits include; FULL COUNT, ALL ROADS LEAD HOME & RAISING JEFFREY DAHMER. For the stage, he had the honor of Producing the Midwest Premiere of DISNEY'S HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL in 2006. He was also one of the first to present EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL outside of New York.

In Las Vegas he has produced and/or directed multiple award-winning residency shows on both the Strip and Downtown, including ONE EPIC NIGHT (a Robin Leach critic pick), ROCK FANTASY, Halloween on Fremont Street, NAKED BOYS SINGING (Winner of Best Musical in Vegas) as well as NEWSICAL THE MUSICAL (Winner of Best Musical in Vegas) and A MUSICAL ABOUT STAR WARS, both at Planet Hollywood. As an immersive experience creator, Nick has expanded his company to create & operate fully immersive pop-up bars.

During the Pandemic, he created a virtual fan connection platform for both Broadway and the Horror Industries, to keep icons of those industries working during the shutdown. In New York, Nick is currently on the producing team for Barry Manilow & Bruce Sussman's new Broadway musical, HARMONY, (which during its Off-Broadway run won Drama Desk, Off Broadway Alliance, Broadway World and Outer Critics Circle Awards) starring Chip Zien, Sierra Boggess & Julie Benko and Directed by Tony Award Winner, Warren Carlyle. Off Broadway, Nick is currently on the producing teams for NEWSICAL THE MUSICAL and A MUSICAL ABOUT STAR WARS. He is also on the Producing team for the official 25th Anniversary Production of REEFER MADNESS THE MUSICAL, with details to be announced in the coming months.
