Wallace began her stage career playing Maureen Johnson in Rent (2010) before taking on the role of Joanne Jefferson in a 2011 production of Rent. She joined the U.

BIO

Wallace began her stage career playing Maureen Johnson in Rent (2010) before taking on the role of Joanne Jefferson in a 2011 production of Rent. She joined the U.S. tour of The Book of Mormon (2012) as a member of the ensemble.


She made her Broadway debut in the original cast of Aladdin (2014–2015), performing in the ensemble and understudying Babkak, followed by the original Broadway cast of Something Rotten! (2015), where she was in the ensemble and understudied Bea. She joined the West End production of Dreamgirls in 2016 as Effie White, initially serving as an alternate before taking over the role. In 2017, she released the Christmas album Soul Holiday.

Wallace originated the role of Becky in the original London cast of Waitress (2019). She appeared as the Busybody Woman in Disney's live-action film Aladdin (2019). In 2021, she voiced Ms. Johnston in the Netflix film Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey and appeared as Marsha in two episodes of the second season of Feel Good. That same year, she starred as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray at the London Coliseum.

In 2022, Wallace played Ado Annie in Oklahoma! at the Young Vic. She starred as Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre from 2023 to 2024. In 2024, she competed on the twenty-third series of Celebrity Big Brother, appeared as Bea in the concert staging of Something Rotten! at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, made a guest appearance during Alex Newell's concerts at Cadogan Hall, and made her pantomime debut as the Sheriff of Nottingham in Robin Hood at the London Palladium.

In 2025, Wallace starred as Sally Bowles in Cabaret at London's Playhouse Theatre before reprising the role in the Broadway production at the August Wilson Theatre. She also performed a solo concert at London's Adelphi Theatre, later released as the live album Live in London (2025).

In 2026, Wallace is scheduled to appear as Erzulie in Once on This Island in Concert at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Happy in Midnight at Sadler's Wells East, Bea in Something Rotten! at the Manchester Opera House, and Jada in Table 17 at the Kiln Theatre.
