42ND STREET Cast Announced at The REV

On June 30th, The REV Theatre Company reopens its historic flagship venue, the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse, with the song and dance spectacular, 42nd Street. The show marks the company's return to live performances and runs through July 28 at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Emerson Park. This 18-minute short film features six local actors, five of whom were young performers between the ages of 12 and 14. But author Joan Didion has suffered immense loss and tragedy in losing her husband and daughter, and uses this as the narrative of her book turned one woman play  THE YEAR OF MAGICAL THINKING. In Didion's own words her emotions may not seem raw, but they are truly rich with a deep sense of introspection and self awareness. And during the time of Covid, where live theatre is still on hold, Buffalo's Irish Classical Theatre is presenting it's second virtual performance with Didion's  gripping play.
