(1/31/2015) - THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK at Theatre Palisades begins with Otto Frank returning to the family hiding place after his release from Auschwitz when the camp was liberated on 1-27-45. With worldwide celebrations of its 70th anniversary this week, now is the perfect time to experience the story never to be forgotten about Anne's two-year ordeal hiding with her family during the German occupation of the Netherlands. This is a story of life, not death - a true depiction of raw, daily survival during the Holocaust.

But really in the grand scheme of life, not so bad.'? The first pictures are released today for How to Hold Your Breath, a new play by Zinnie Harris. Directed by the Royal Court's Artistic Director Vicky Featherstone, the cast includes Christine Bottomley, Neil D'Souza, Peter Forbes, Maxine Peake, Siobhan McSweeney, Maxine Peake, Danusia Samal and Michael Shaeffer. (1/30/2015) - Broadway's Doctor Zhivago is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff (Jersey Boys), with a book by Academy Award nominee Michael Weller (Ragtime), music by Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Lucy Simon (The Secret Garden), lyrics by Tony Award nominee Michael Korie (Grey Gardens) and Emmy Award nominee Amy Powers (Ella Enchanted), and choreography by Tony Award nominee Kelly Devine (Rocky). DOCTOR ZHIVAGO will begin performances on Friday, March 27, 2015, and open on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, at 6:30pm, at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). The long-awaited Mamie and Ellis Nassour Arts & Entertainment Collection exhibit was unveiled with its donor, Ellis Nassour, alum of University of Mississippi 1964. Souvenirs of Nassour's life, accomplishments and past friendships are exhibited for the university students and the world to see: rare movie posters, letters between authors and actors and memorabilia of Ole Miss in bygone days.
