The Chicago production of the off-Broadway hit is a holiday season sendup of the iconic romantic comedy and Christmas movie Love Actually. The musical is written by Bob and Tobly McSmith, creators of the smash hits The Office! A Musical Parody and Friends! The Musical Parody, with music and orchestration by Basil Winterbottom.

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is the comedic musical that lovingly pokes fun at TV’s Friends, celebrating the adventures of your favorite group of 20-something friends as they navigate the pitfalls of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

The touring production of Friends! The Musical Parody at the Orpheum Theater in Sioux Falls, SD had an energy of excitement and anticipation on Thursday evening as the audience found their seats; many of them as a 'group of friends'. As recorded music ramped up the theme to the iconic television program, it was a familiar space of sense memory that took you back to a time when we were all less absorbed by our electronic devices and social media and more curious about the situations a cast of quirky and hilarious characters would navigate. Friends! was a series that spanned 10 years and 236 episodes. Is it possible that I saw every episode of this series? Now that the television show is in syndication, I would have to concede the answer is a resounding and celebratory, 'yes!' Twenty five years after it first appeared on the airwaves, it continues to be a favorite among fans, many of them not even born when it began.

Right Angle Entertainment announced today that Love Actually? The Unauthorized Musical Parody, a holiday season sendup of the iconic romantic comedy and Christmas movie Love Actually, will return off-Broadway and debut in Chicago this holiday season.

Performances begin off-Broadway in New York City on Wednesday, November 24 in the Jerry Orbach Theater at The Theater Center (1627 Broadway), with an Opening Night set for Tuesday, November 30. The musical will also be premiering in Chicago this winter. Performance dates, venue, and casting of that production will be announced shortly.

The show will play Sioux Falls October 7th through 10th, 2021. Tickets are on sale now for all five performances.

Kimmel Cultural Campus has announced the much-anticipated return of in-person performing arts across their venues: the Kimmel Center, the Academy of Music, and the Merriam Theater. On September 18, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., Kimmel Cultural Campus will host a grand reopening event in Commonwealth Plaza to celebrate the start of the 2021-22 season.

The Weidner Center for the Performing Arts and Right Angle Entertainment have announced tickets for FRIENDS! The Musical Parody will go on sale on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00 AM. FRIENDS! The Musical Parody, the New York City Off-Broadway hit, will play at the Weidner Center on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 7:30 PM.

The Orpheum Theater Center has announced three comedic shows coming to its stage starting in fall 2021. Friends! The Musical Parody, That Golden Girls Show! and Potted Potter all put new spins on beloved characters like Joey Tribbiani, Rose Nyland and, of course, Harry Potter.

It was announced today that the hilarious New York and Las Vegas hit Friends! The Musical Parody has extended its Melbourne season by two weeks. 

The unauthorized send up of the hit TV series will feature Emma Brock as Michael Scott, Laura Mehl as Pam, Danny Adam as Jim, Devina Sebnis as Kelly, Nathan David Smith as Dwight, Emily Qualmann as Phyllis, Gabrielle Filloux as Angela, Bob McSmith as Creed, Kevin Bruce Harris as Stanley, and Marissa Hecker and Andy Martinez in various other roles.

Producers of the hilarious New York and Las Vegas hit Friends! The Musical Parody today announced that due to huge demand, an additional performance for the Australian Premiere at The Star Gold Coast has been announced. The additional show will be at 2pm on Sunday 14 February – a special Valentine's Day show.
