New Jersey theatre is back and it's time to make plans. Get your show tickets and arrange to dine out and enjoy a meal. We have recommendations for productions all around New Jersey and restaurants that are local to the show. Make an afternoon or a night of it and see you at the theatre!

George Street Playhouse (New Brunswick) GSP opens their season at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) with Dear Jack, Dear Louise in the Arthur Laurents Theater. Two restaurants that are right next door to the venue for top-notch dining are Catherine Lombardi with fine Italian inspired cuisine and Stage Left Steak with delicious steakhouse fare and more.

Crossroads Theatre Company (New Brunswick) Crossroads at New Brunswick Performing Arts Center (NBPAC) continues their season with a schedule of exciting events for theatergoers and the community. When you're in New Brunswick, dine at Delta's Restaurant for soul food, traditional, and creative cuisine, specialty cocktails, and enjoy live music. Visit:

Two River Theater (Red Bank) August Wilson's, Radio Golf is now being performed to open the Theater's 2021-2022 season. TRT's restaurant partner is Urban Coalhouse where you can enjoy starters, wings, pizza, burgers, pasta and more.

NJ Repertory Company (Long Branch) They will be opening their 2021-2022 season with What Doesn't Kill You through 11/21. Simply Greek in Pier Village is a go-to eatery and if patrons mention that they're going to NJ Rep they get a discount and a dessert for the table.

Axelrod Performing Arts Center (Deal) Their theater reopens with a top stage show, A Bronx Tale, The Musical. The Bar Room + Kitchen a popular neighborhood spot in Deal that serves good food and drinks for all.

UCPAC (Rahway) Union County Performing Arts Center has a great line-up for all ages. Upcoming shows include Tommy James & The Shondells on 11/13; Comedy Explosion on 11/27; and American Repertory Ballet's The Nutcracker on 12/3. When in Rahway, take your family and friends downtown to Nancy's Townhouse where you can enjoy thin crust pizzas and a nice array of Italian cuisine, drinks and desserts.

Mayo Performing Arts Center (Morristown) MPAC is presenting a variety of shows to suit all tastes and styles. Their line-up includes Steely Dan on 11/3, 11/4, 11/6 and 11/7; Friends, The Musical Parody on 11/9; and Masterchef Live on 11/11. South and Pine is right next door to the Center serving artistic dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Millburn) Songs for a New World is now being performed with a stellar cast at the Playhouse. Make your reservation for pre-theatre dining at the Carriage House serving seasonal American cuisine conveniently located on the same premises as the theatre.

Premiere Stages at Kean University (Union) Premiere Stages has returned with a full season of in person performances. When visiting the theatre, have a meal at Garden Restaurant that serves fine food and drink for all tastes and styles.

New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark) NJPAC has an great schedule of shows coming up that includes Django Festival Allstars on 11/5; Nimbus Dance on 11/6; and One Funny Lisa Marie on 11/13. When you are at the Center, visit NICO Kitchen + Bar, the restaurant right on premises. This stylish bistro and bar is ideal for guests to eat, drink, and relax.

The Growing Stage (Netcong) The Growing Stage kicks off their new season with The Story of the Nutcracker from 11/26 to 12/9. When you visit the theater, dine at one of the town's favorite spots Polo's Bar and Grill in Netcong for a delightful array of food for the entire family.
