BIO
He made his West End debut in the ensemble of Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre (2013–14), before appearing as Eddie in the international tour of Mamma Mia! in 2015.
His breakthrough came in 2016 when he originated the role of Arthur Kipps in Half a Sixpence at Chichester Festival Theatre, later transferring with the production to the Noël Coward Theatre in the West End. The performance earned him significant critical acclaim and award recognition. He went on to star as the title role in Dick Whittington at the London Palladium (2017–18), followed by his Broadway debut as Barnaby Tucker in Hello, Dolly! at the Shubert Theatre in 2018.
Returning to London, he appeared regularly at the London Palladium, including roles in Snow White (2018–19) and Pantoland (2020), and toured the UK in Rough Crossing (2019). From 2019 to 2023, he played Bert in the West End production of Mary Poppins at the Prince Edward Theatre, one of his most notable and long-running roles.
He continued to originate and lead major productions, starring as Bobby Child in Crazy for You at Chichester Festival Theatre (2022) before transferring to the Gillian Lynne Theatre in the West End in 2023. His later credits include Bill Calhoun/Lucentio in Kiss Me, Kate at the Barbican Centre (2024), Alan-A-Dale in Robin Hood at the London Palladium (2024–25), Jonathan Harker in Dracula, A Comedy of Terrors at the Menier Chocolate Factory (2025), and Buttons in Cinderella at Richmond Theatre (2025–26).
His work has been widely recognized with numerous award nominations and honors. For Half a Sixpence, he received a UK Theatre Award nomination for Best Performance in a Musical, as well as a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical, and won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Musical. He was honored with a Theatre World Award for his Broadway debut in Hello, Dolly! and later received additional Olivier Award nominations for his performances in Mary Poppins and Crazy for You, alongside an Evening Standard Theatre Award nomination for the latter.
