She’s already begun to make a name for herself on campus and beyond, most recently appearing as Urleen in Otterbein’s 2025 mainstage production of Footloose.
Review: MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET CHRISTMAS at Marriott Theatre, Lincolnshire IL
by Tina St. Angelo - November 28, 2025
Don’t forget where you came from. Words spoken by Sam Phillips, founder and owner of Sun Records, to Elvis Presley. The holiday production at the Marriott Lincolnshire Theatre is Million Dollar Quartet Christmas. It continues the story where Million Dollar Quartet ends.
Review: CRY IT OUT BY MOLLY SMITH METZLER at Little Fish Theatre
by Shari Barrett - November 28, 2025
All four actors as well as director Mirai are to be commended for keeping the action moving and characters deeply present in their own truths. Given the small and up-close staging in the black box theatre, every audience member will feel like a fly on the fence in Jessie’s backyard while seated on all four sides of the center stage playing area. Each in their own ways creates a portrait of parenthood that is by turns raw, hilarious, joyful, and profoundly moving.
Review: INTO THE WOODS at SF Playhouse
by Steve Murray - November 28, 2025
Sondheim fans rejoice! We have not one, but two sensational productions to satisfy that itch for smart lyrics and equally solid books. Shotgun Players is running their fabulous Sunday in the Park with George, and now Director Susi Damilano and SF Playhouse have outdone themselves with a stunning Into the Woods. Every component of this production is a winner; casting, technical, and musical.

Review: DISNEY ON ICE Returns to Vancouver with a new LET’S DANCE Production
by Alyson Eng - November 28, 2025
There’s nothing like a burst of Disney magic to bring brightness to Vancouver, and DISNEY ON ICE presents LET’S DANCE did exactly that at the Pacific Coliseum. The arena lifted as soon as the lights dropped, matched by a warm holiday sing-along that set the tone for a night built on movement and music. The show moved quickly, pulling families into an atmosphere shaped by colour, rhythm, and constant interaction.
Review: SOME LIKE IT HOT at National Theatre
by David Friscic - November 28, 2025
A sophisticated, slightly sweet, and satiric tone sweeps over the characters of the luxuriously professional production of the musical Some Like it Hot, now touring at the National Theatre. From the moment that the show opens with the ode to self-gratification and excess “What Are You Thirsty For?” to the hymn to misbehavior “Let’s Be Bad” to the rousing finale “Baby, Let’s Get Good” ---this show grabs the audience and never lets it go.

With performances through December 4, the production offers a rare chance to experience this Enlightenment-era masterpiece with fresh cultural resonance.

Review: SHADOWS - BALLET BLACK, Sadler’s Wells
by Matthew Paluch - November 28, 2025
Considering Ballet Black has been around for 24 years, it seems unbelievable that the current double bill Shadows is also a Sadler's Wells debut. Unfortunately it isn't their strongest work to date, choreographically speaking.
