Madison Lyric Stage Will Present THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS and CURLEW RIVER

Madison Lyric Stage announced that the first production of it 2022 10th anniversary mainstage season will be a double bill of Kurt Weill's The Seven Deadly Sins and Benjamin Britten's Curlew River for four performances May 12-15. 
ZOEYS PERFECT WEDDING Comes to TheaterWorks This Month

TheaterWorks Hartford will present the East Coast premiere of Zoey's Perfect Wedding by Tony-winner Matthew López, the first Latiné playwright to win the Tony Award for best play. Directed by Producing Artistic Director Rob Ruggiero, the production marks López's return to TheaterWorks Hartford following the celebrated 2018 production of The Legend of Georgia McBride.

Tarell Alvin McCraney's CHOIR BOY, playing at Yale Repertory Theatre through April 23, is directed by the prodigiously talented Christopher D. Betts; Betts has created a terrific production, for the most part, with outstanding acting, singing, and scenic, lighting, and costume design. The play itself has some predictable elements, but for the most part Betts' interpretation makes for a thought-provoking and moving experience.
