"MTP Daily" ("Meet the Press Daily") has been a staple of NBC's Sunday morning lineup for decades, and now its reach expands to a daily format on the network's 24-hour news outlet, MSNBC, under the title "MTP Daily." Chuck Todd hosts this hourlong program that covers the latest in news and politics. Unlike the guest-heavy Sunday show, the daily program is news-driven to fit in with MSNBC's other daytime programming, which is filled with breaking-news coverage. According to a network executive, "MTP Daily" is intended to ``bring the insight and power of `Meet the Press' to [the] air every day of the week.'
