Waterperry Opera Festival has unveiled its full programme for the 2026 Festival. The festival returns this summer under the new leadership of Artistic Director and CEO John Savournin. 

La Mama will present Antipodes Theatre Company’s Back to Te Maunga in March. Written by Joel Te Teira and directed by Keegan Bragg, the play explores male friendship, grief, and Māori spirituality. The production will run for a limited engagement at La Mama Courthouse.

Cal State LA Downtown is set to launch an Arts Management Certificate Program, aimed at equipping arts leaders with the skills to innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment. The program, drawing on Los Angeles' rich cultural scene, will feature instructors from top local arts organizations.

Sarasota Opera will open its 2026 Winter Festival with Giacomo Puccini's La bohème at the Sarasota Opera House. As the company enters its 67th season, it embarks on a momentous year celebrating the Opera House's centennial.

Musical Theatre West will open its 2026 season with the bold, moving, and visually striking musical: 'Man of La Mancha.” Running select nights starting February 13th through March 1st at Carpenter Performing Arts Center.

Jon Joseph Gentry's acclaimed solo show BLACK BASTARD, celebrated for its dynamic storytelling and character portrayal, will be staged at the LA LGBT Center on January 23, 2026. The one-night-only event follows a successful run at the 2024 Hollywood Fringe Festival and includes a post-show discussion with Gentry.

Holocaust Museum LA will present a special screening of 'An Auschwitz Album Story' at AMC The Grove, marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day. The documentary explores the harrowing experiences of Holocaust survivors.

Performances of the LA premiere of The Dignity Circle begin February 14 and run every Friday, Saturday and Monday at 8 p.m. and Sunday 2 p.m. through March 22.

La Jolla Playhouse has revealed the cast and creative team for its world-premiere production of The Recipe, by Tony Award nominee Claudia Shear. The production will star Norbert Leo Butz and more.

Blue Raven Theatre and Teatro Paraguas will present La Femme Shakespeare, a one-woman show written and performed by Talia Pura. The production will be staged at Teatro Paraguas in Santa Fe.

Marking its 31st year, LA Art Show will return to the LA Convention Center. Led by director and producer Kassandra Voyagis, the fair will feature more than 90 exhibitors.
