Apple TV+ has shared a clip from the upcoming fourth episode of Central Park, entitled a?oeGarbage Ballet,a?? which premieres tomorrow, Friday, June 12.

'This episode of Broadway Rewind is a look at a legend, a classic and a musical poet,' says BroadwayWorlds' own Richard Ridge. 'I got to chat with Cyndi Lauper who was making her Broadway debut in Roundabout's production of The Threepenny Opera, than I dropped by the opening of the new production of Jacques Brel starring Robert Cuccioli, but it started off downtown at the now defunct Actors Playhouse to catch up with an icon I had always wanted to meet, T.V. and cult film star Adrianne Barbeau, who was starring as the legendary Judy Garland in a one woman show 'The Property Known as Garland'  written by her husband Billy Van Sant.

During the 2020 Grammy Awards, in a tribute to longtime GRAMMY executive producer Ken Ehrlich, and to acknowledge the importance of music education in schools to the Recording Academy, GRAMMY Museum and Ehrlich, artists performed 'I Sing The Body Electric' from the film Fame. The performance featured Ben Platt, Camila Cabello, Gary Clark Jr. and John Legend, Debbie Allen, Joshua Bell, Common, Misty Copeland, Lang Lang, Cyndi Lauper, and The War And Treaty.

@bwaysessions2019 is officially over and we wanted to take a moment to look back on some highlights from the past decade of Broadway Sessions. We're currently in the midst of our 12th Season and we could not be more grateful for all of our performers, audience members, open mic-ers, followers and supporters. The cast of The Spongebob Musical is giving fans a peek behind the curtain in an all new video.

Today, of Montreal have announced their new album UR FUN via Polyvinyl Record Co.  Listen to the first track and single “Peace To All Freaks,” described by Kevin Barnes as a “protest song against totalitarianism, familial terrorism and wastefulness in all its forms,” that expresses love to the outcasts and the gentle people in this world, leaving us with this reminder: “Hush, hush/ Don't let's be cynical/ don't let's be bitter/ If you feel like you can't do it for yourself then do it for us.”

HBO and World of Wonder released a video that features Jessica Chastain, RuPaul, Andy Cohen, Whoopi Goldberg, Monica Lewinsky, Lizzo, Cyndi Lauper, Wayne Brady, Regina Spektor, Charo, Big Freedia, and Courtney Love narrating the famous “The New Colossus” poem that sits at the base of the Statue of Liberty. 

THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL is currently playing at The Bushnell in Hartford, CT, and will next travel to the Overture Center in Madison, WI prior to engagements in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto and more. Get a first look at the cast in action in the all new video!

The winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Kinky Boots hits the Ogunquit Playhouse stage September 18 through October 27. Featuring a hilarious, uplifting book by four-time Tony winner, Harvey Fierstein and a joyous, Tony-winning score by Cyndi Lauper, the Ogunquit Playhouse production is staged by Nathan Peck, and stars Graham Scott Fleming as Charlie Price, and Kyle Taylor Parker as Lola, with Tony-nominated Scenic Design by David Rockwell and Tony-nominated Costume Design is by Gregg Barnes.

Everybody say yeah! We're celebrating the birthday of Broadway's original Charlie Price, Stark Sands, by looking back at his opening night in Broadway's Tony-winning musical Kinky Boots. The iconic Grammy-winning and Emmy nominated songwriter-producer Desmond Child has shared the first track, “Livin' On A Prayer” from his upcoming album DESMOND CHILD LIVE, available worldwide on October 25 via BMG.
