Despite sub-zero temperatures, a nearly full house of theater lovers braved the cold to come together for a warm celebration at Green Room 42 in Manhattan, on Sunday, February 8.

This Sunday marks the last opportunity to bid in the 2026 TRU Love Benefit Online Auction, featuring exclusive items like Broadway show tickets and unique memorabilia. The event supports Theater Resources Unlimited and the arts.

Theater Resources Unlimited has announced updated casting and honorees for its upcoming TRU Love Benefit. The annual fundraiser will celebrate leaders in theater production, digital access, and humanitarian advocacy.

Theater Resources Unlimited will present its 2026 TRU Love Benefit honoring leaders and artists from the theater community. The event will feature performances by Broadway veterans and emerging artists, along with awards recognizing artistic and humanitarian contributions.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) will present the 2026 TRU Love Benefit, honoring respected members of the theater community. Producers Bonnie Comley & Stewart Lane will be given the TRU Spirit of Theater Award.

ALL ARTS will premiere a new slate of original programming throughout May and June as part of Broadway and Beyond, including Mandy Gonzalez in Concert and the return of the fan-favorite series Broadway Sandwich.

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts' final mainstage show of the summer season, MEL BROOKS' YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN—THE MUSICAL, officially opened. By popular demand, the hit show's run will be extended through September 1.

On Saturday, July 6, Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts hosted their annual EPIC full-blown gala extravaganza with special twists and exciting surprises, honoring show stopper Neil Patrick Harris, star of stage and screen (+food!) David Burtka, and East End community treasure Dr. Georgette Grier-Key. On Saturday, December 9, 2023, the Broadway Dreams Foundation ('Broadway Dreams') honored prolific producer of television, film, and Broadway, Robert Greenblatt at their 16th Annual Gala held at The Plaza Hotel in New York City.  See photos from the evening below.

Chita danced onto the stage at the Skirball Center to present the Chita Rivera Lifetime Achievement Award to her friend and collaborator, 96-year-old John Kander.

On May 3, 2023, the Central Park Women's Committee had their hats in tow at the 41st annual Olmsted Luncheon, also called 'the hat luncheon.' The event took place in the Conservatory Garden where over 1,300 members and friends gathered (with their best hats in hand, of course!). The luncheon this year raised over 4 million dollars in supporting and maintaining Central Park this year!

Nominations for the 2023 Chita Rivera Awards were announced just last week, and will be presented on May 22nd at 7:30pm at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. A reception was held for the nominees last night, May 2, and BroadwayWorld was there. Check out photos here!

A dependable haven for artists in isolation, Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) is now into its second year of non-stop weekly Community Gatherings this Friday, having offered to date over 100 conversations and unlimited camaraderie since April 17, 2020.
