The Chita Rivera Awards and New York City Dance Alliance Foundation announced 15 semi-finalists for Broadway's Next Triple Threat, a talent search honoring Chita Rivera's legacy. Finalists will be named ahead of the live awards presentation on May 18.

New York City Dance Alliance Foundation (NYCDAF) and The Chita Rivera Awards are launching a nationwide talent search to discover and support Broadway's Next Triple Threat, an emerging artist who demonstrates exceptional ability in dance, voice, and acting.

In January of 2026, 54 Below will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond, including Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, Matthew Morrison and many more. 

The January 3rd show features Broadway stars reviving songs from productions they starred in and sharing behind-the-scenes stories. This edition includes stars from Cabaret, Chicago, Into the Woods, Assassins and more.

54 Below will present the return by popular demand of “Backstage Babble Live!' Based on the podcast hosted by Charles Kirsch, the concert will feature performances and stories from some of his previous guests.

The date has been revealed for the 2026 Chita Rivera Awards, which will take place at the NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The Chita Rivera Awards celebrate dance and choreographic excellence.
