Zane Pais is a New York-based actor and writer. He stars in the critically acclaimed Amazon Original series Modern Love, created by John Carney, based on the weekly New York Times column. Pais made his feature film debut in Noah Baumbach's feature Margot at the Wedding.
Pais has made a name for himself on the New York Theatre scene. He most recently starred in Richard Greenberg's The Perplexed at MTC. He previously starred in Tony Award Winner Jack Thorne's world premiere production of Sunday, directed by Lee Sunday Evans at Atlantic Theater Company; in the stage adaptation of Dead Poets Society, directed by John Doyle at Classic Stage Company; and in Philip Ridley's Mercury Fur, directed by Scott Elliott for The New Group.
On television, he previously guest-starred in an episode of HBO's Room 104, directed by Lila Neugebauer.
