TINA – THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL will play Seattle's Paramount Theatre from September 12 - 17, 2023.

Now at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa through July 23, 2023, the musical is mostly engaging and passionately performed. But a chaotic, sped-through first act only provides brief vignettes of a challenging life. The better second act focuses on Ms. Turner's comeback, concluding with a mini rock concert that made the visit worthwhile.

Also starring are Roderick Lawrence as Ike Turner, Roz White as Zelma Bullock, Carla R. Stewart as Gran Georgeanna and Lael Van Keuren as Rhonda.

As we honor the late Tina Turner upon the news of her recent passing, the national tour of TINA: THE TINA TURNER MUSICAL--now playing at the Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City--is a fitting tribute to a woman who made a great impact not only on the world of music but on the world itself.
