IAMA Theatre Company and the Los Angeles LGBT Center Present THE BOTTOMING PROCESS
IAMA Theatre Company and the Los Angeles LGBT Center present the world premiere of a dark comedy developed in IAMA's Under 30 Playwright's Lab. IAMA associate artistic director Rodney To is at the helm of The Bottoming Process by Nicholas Pilapil, running May 18 through June 12 at the Renberg Theatre in the Los Angeles LGBT Center's Lily Tomlin/Jane Wagner Cultural Arts Center. Low-priced previews begin May 13.
THE ROOMMATE Presented By New Village Arts This April
New Village Arts, North County's cultural hub, announces the San Diego Premiere of THE ROOMMATE by Jen Silverman. This new dark comedy about self-discovery and new beginnings will be directed by longtime NVA collaborator Samantha Ginn, and will star Milena (Sellers) Phillips and Kim Strassburger.

Marissa Bode, Bowen Yang, Keala Settle, Bronwyn James, Aaron Teoh, and Michael Carmichael have joined the cast of Jon M. Chu's film adaptation of Wicked. They will join the previously Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, Jeff Goldblum, Ethan Slater, and Jonathan Bailey.
Ethan Slater Joins WICKED Movie Cast as Boq
Ethan Slater has joined the film adaptation of Wicked as Boq. He joins Ariana Grande as Glinda, Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, as well as Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero and the rumored Jeff Goldblum in the two-part film adaption of the hit Broadway musical directed by Jon M. Chu.
Second WICKED Movie Will Include Two New Songs
Stephen Schwartz has confirmed that the second Wicked movie will include two new songs and that he is also reworking some of the musical's existing songs. Schwartz also commented on casting for the new film, which features Cynthia Erivo as Elphaba, Ariana Grande as Glinda, Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero, and Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard.
