The production will run at Theatre Royal Plymouth from 30 September – 16 October before transferring to Soho Theatre from 20 October – 20 November where it will have a press night on Tuesday 26 October.

Global Streets, a programme of international outdoor arts presented in 12 towns and cities across the country, today announces an ambitious season of temporary installations, performing arts and light-based artworks running over summer and autumn 2021.

The musical which was postponed in 2020 is set to burst back onto stage in 2022 opening in the UK at the Theatre Royal Plymouth on 14 Feb following 3 weeks in Zurich before an extensive UK tour.

Performing in the role of Dr Coppelius is Micheal Downing whose credits include music videos for international popstars Olly Murs, MK and Becky Hill and who recently received rave reviews for his performances in Peter and the Wolf at the Hackney Empire.

Shelagh Stephenson's Olivier Award-winning play The Memory of Water will run from 3 September until 16 October 2021.

Naomi Peterson joins the company in the role of Miss Stapleton and others, joining the previously announced Richard Ede (Sherlock Holmes), Marc Pickering (Stapleton and others), Eric Stroud (Doctor Watson), Naomi Peterson (Miss Stapleton and others), Phil Yarrow (Sir Henry and others).
