North Carolina Theatre has announced the cast and creative team for Songs for a New World by Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, directed by Eric Woodall. Songs for a New World is North Carolina Theatre's first production since the COVID-19 pandemic forced a global hiatus on in-person gatherings in March of 2020.
The Obsidian Theatre Festival to be Made Available for Streaming

Sloan’s Ghostlight Productions announced that they are partnering with BroadwayHD to bring the inaugural Obsidian Festival to viewers for free via the streaming service’s YouTube channel. The Obsidian Theatre Festival is a virtual theatre and performing arts event featuring emerging Black artists, actors, directors, and playwrights from Detroit.

JM Productions proudly announces a brand new "Broadway Concert Series" starring Alexa Green from "Wicked" and Sydney Morton from "Motown" on August 4th at 8:00 pm at United First Parish Church (also known as The Church of Presidents), Quincy, MA. These two well-known performers will be joined by 25 teenage singers from Quincy's "Rising Stars" program who will sing alongside these talented entertainers. The children are from multiple communities on the North and South Shore.
