Corey Stoll

Corey Stoll began his stage career with his Broadway debut in 2003, appearing in the ensemble of the revival of William Shakespeare's Henry IV at the Vivian Beaumont Theatre. In 2004, he appeared in Intimate Apparel, earning a Drama Desk Award nomination for Outstanding Featured Actor in a Play. He returned to Broadway in Old Acquaintance in 2007.

Stoll began his film career with North Country (2005), followed by Lucky Number Slevin (2006) and the television film A Girl Like Me: The Gwen Araujo Story (2006). He appeared in Brief Interviews with Hideous Men (2009) and Push (2009). In 2010, he appeared in Helena from the Wedding and the action thriller Salt. That same year, he returned to Broadway as Marco in the revival of Arthur Miller's A View from the Bridge.

From 2010 to 2011, Stoll starred as LAPD Detective Tomas Jaruszalski on the NBC police drama Law & Order: LA. In 2011, he played Ernest Hemingway in Woody Allen's film Midnight in Paris, earning an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Male. In 2013, he received a Golden Globe Award nomination for his performance in the Netflix series House of Cards. He subsequently joined the cast of the FX horror series The Strain.

In 2014, Stoll appeared as NYPD officer Austin Reilly in the action film Non-Stop and as Paul Altman in the comedy-drama This Is Where I Leave You. In 2015, he played Ben Day in Dark Places and Darren Cross in the superhero film Ant-Man, portraying the character who becomes the supervillain Yellowjacket. Stoll played 'Howard' in the 2026 AppleTV series Imperfect Women.

In 2016, Stoll appeared in Woody Allen's Café Society as gangster Ben Dorfman. That same year, he played Ulysses in the Public Theater's production of William Shakespeare's Troilus and Cressida in Central Park.

In 2019, Stoll was announced as a recurring cast member of the Netflix drama series Ratched. Beginning in 2020, he portrayed Michael Prince in the Showtime series Billions, playing a business rival to Bobby Axelrod.

Stoll returned to Broadway in 2023 in Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' play Appropriate, appearing opposite Sarah Paulson, Natalie Gold and Elle Fanning. His performance earned him a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actor in a Play. In 2026, he co-starred in the Off-Broadway revival of What Happened Was..., which opened at the Minetta Lane Theatre on April 14.
