Betrayal Revival

Tom Hiddleston was recently honored with a portrait on the legendary wall of caricatures at Sardi's. Hiddleston gathered with the company of Betrayal and other special guests to celebrate the honor, and BroadwayWorld was there!

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Betrayal on Broadway, starring Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton, Charlie Cox, and Eddie Arnold will conclude its limited engagement today, December 8, after playing 22 previews and 109 regular performances.

It was both a trick and a treat on Halloween this year when Tom Hiddleston and Charlie Cox traded places as their Marvel characters. Hiddleston dressed up as Cox's Daredevil from the celebrated Netflix series and Cox donned Hiddleston's Loki look from the smash-hit The Avengers.

Tom Hiddleston was a guest on Monday night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about Betrayal on Broadway. During the interview, Hiddleston gets embarrassed by unreleased footage of him auditioning for the part of Thor, and Jimmy tests his ability to cry on command like he does daily for Betrayal.

Just months ago, following a critically acclaimed run at London's Harold Pinter Theatre, the four-person cast of Betrayal all made their Broadway debuts. One of the four was Eddie Arnold.

Stars of Betrayal raised their glasses to the late Harold Pinter last night, October 10, in celebration of what would have been the playwright's 89th birthday. Pinter, who wrote such beloved plays as The Homecoming, The Birthday Party, and many more, passed away in 2008.
