One Day Only Encore Performances Of CLOUD SOUP Announced

Due to popular demand, on Sunday April 28 the Scoundrel & Scamp Theatre will present two encore performances of CLOUD SOUP by acclaimed physical theatre artist Wolfe Bowart. The theatre's Artistic Director Bryan Falcon invited Bowart to return to the Scoundrel & Scamp's mainstage following his sold-out season in January. Cloud Soup became the first production in the theatre's short history to sell out. Bowart will perform the additional shows in Tucson before premiering Cloud Soup in Australia later in the Summer. At the April 15, 2019 Mesa City Council meeting, Mayor John Giles presented a proclamation honoring the 25th Anniversary Season of the Sonoran Desert Chorale to Founding Director, Jeff Harris. The Council declared Saturday, May 4 to be celebrated as Sonoran Desert Chorale Day in Mesa. In his acceptance remarks, Mr. Harris spoke of the Chorale's long association with the City and its residents. The City was instrumental in supporting the Chorale in its early days.

Since 1991, Gateway for Cancer Research (Gateway) has provided over $85 million in funding for more than 170 clinical trials at leading institutions worldwide. This week, Gateway announced a $1.5 million grant to fund a first-of-its-kind pediatric brain cancer study at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
