Today we rewind to 2011, when Sister Act was preparing for Broadway. The musical, which first premiered in California in 2006 and then London in 2009, featured music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.

The 67th Music Circus season continues with the feel-good musical comedy Sister Act, featuring an infectious score by Tony and Oscar-winning composer Alan Menken.

Broadway vet Patina Miller and her husband, David Mars, have just welcomed their first child. Joining the family is a daughter named Emerson Harper Mars born August 9 in New York City.
