The Midtown International Theatre Festival makes its return to New York City after an absence of nearly a decade. Founder and Executive Producer John Chatterton, a pivotal figure in the Off-Off-Broadway movement, is partnering with Jay Michaels, one of indie theatre's most visible personalities, to bring the groundbreaking theatrical event back in June/July of 2026.

John Stillwaggon and Carolyn Dellinger will return to the stage in a special private presentation of Bernard J. Taylor’s Tennessee Williams: Portrait of a Gay Icon on Monday, November 3, 2025, at the Jerry Orbach Theatre (210 West 50th Street).

The Drama Book Shop in association with Jay Michaels Global Communications, will present Ageless Dancers: A Conversation With Betti Franceschi. A talkback, signing and live podcast recording.

Founder and Executive Producer John Chatterton, a pivotal force in the Off-Off-Broadway movement, is officially reviving the Midtown International Theatre Festival (MITF) for July 2026.

The Drama Book Shop will host a special live event on October 16 with authors Carol Lee Campbell and Domnica Radulescu. The evening will celebrate their new one-act play Sappho’s Garden with a talkback, signing, and podcast taping. Admission is free with purchase of the book at the venue.
