The 2019 ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty) Color Ball honored Laura Benanti and Lutheran Social Services for their work with ASTEP in providing arts education for students who have arrived in the United States as unaccompanied minors - and Laura's work in the creation of Singing You Home: Children's Songs for Family Reunification, in conjunction with Mary-Mitchell Campbell, Broadway music director and Founder Co-Executive Director of ASTEP. 

After two sell-out runs at Sadler's Wells, the smash hit international music and dance sensation INALA (meaning 'abundance of goodwill' in Zulu) makes its West End debut at the Peacock Theatre.

This summer, the internationally lauded dance troupe BalletBoyz will make its West End debut with its critically-acclaimed Them/Us, an innovative double bill and a brand-new collaboration from the company's own dancers and the Olivier Award-winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon. A co-production with Sadler's Wells, Them/Us played at Sadler's Wells in March as part of a recently completed UK tour. The production will run from 3-15 June at the Vaudeville theatre, with opening night for press on 3 June.

Stagecrafters' production of Southern Comfort, which runs through May 12th at the Baldwin Theatre's 2nd Stage, is an excellent representation of how diversity in the media can only lead to beautiful stories and even more beautiful storytelling.

Beetlejuice, the new Broadway musical comedy, will record a cast album to be released later this year. The show officially opened at Broadway's Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) on Thursday, April 25. The album - produced by Matt Stine, Alex Timbers, Eddie Perfect, and Kurt Deutsch - will be recorded May 5, 6 and 13.
