Her Off Broadway credits include Close Up Space (Manhattan Theatre Club), References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot (Public Theater), and The Vagina Monologues. An Academy Award nominee for her performance in the film Fearless, her many film credits include Do The Right Thing, White Men Can’t Jump, It Could Happen To You, Perdita Durango, The 24 Hour Woman, Riding in Cars with Boys, and The Take (Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Actress).
Her television credits include the films “Lackawanna Blues” and “Lies in Plain Sight,” and appearances on numerous series including In Living Color (which she also choreographed, earning three consecutive Emmy Award nominations for her choreography), “Frasier,” “ Lipstick Jungle,” and “Nurse Jackie.” She also served a co-host of ABC-TV’s “The View.”
