Jason Lyons has been nominated for several awards for his outstanding lighting design work. He received nominations for Outstanding Lighting Design at the Outer Critics Circle Awards for the show "Sugar in Our Wounds." He was also nominated for Outstanding Lighting Design at The Lortels for "Mourning Becomes Electra." In addition, Lyons received a nomination for Outstanding Lighting Design in a Musical at the Drama Desk Awards for the show "Clay."
