American Stage Theatre Company has announced the last production of their 2012-2013 Season on the Mainstage: ART by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton. This production won a Tony Award for "Best Play" and the Olivier Award for "Best Comedy". Previews are August 7 & 8. Opening Night is August 9 and the production runs through September 8.

When describing Hat Trick's brilliantly twisted production of Mindgame, the only thought that came to me as the lights faded to black was "what the" and I word I cannot write in print. The manipulation was so intense, yet you don't realize the emotional roller coaster you were on until the last scene.

The New York Times has confirmed that The Soho Playhouse will close MADE IN HEAVEN on Monday, December 7 to make way for the transfer of EMPEROR JONES by Eugene O'Neil. EMPEROR JONES will begin performances on December 15th.

Meadow Brook Theatre is excited to announce 'Feet for Seats' a 5K fun run/walk on the campus of Oakland University. This fundraising event has been planned to raise awareness to the professional theatre, which has been located on OU's campus since 1966. 'We put on exciting shows,' says managing director Cheryl Marshall, 'but in these tough economic times we need to rally around our local arts organizations and raise funds as well as awareness.'
