BIO
Chris Coffey is a North Jersey-raised, Brooklyn-based professional theater multi-hyphenate and the founder and Artistic Director of Sup Dummies. His work as an actor, musician, music director, and director has been seen and heard on stages, screens, and speakers from New York to Alaska. In his other life, he plays drums and guitar in the acclaimed NYC jazz combo The Shubert Alley Cats and is a Casting Associate at Wojcik Casting. Jukebox musicals often rely heavily on nostalgia, weaving familiar songs together with a simple narrative. BUDDY: THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY largely follows that formula, but TheatreZone’s current production succeeds thanks to its energetic performances - especially its outstanding lead.
