North Texas Performing Arts Repertory Theatre announces its all-female cast and crew production of 'Steel Magnolias' which focuses on the camaraderie of six Southern women who talk, gossip, tease and harangue each other through the best of times, and comfort and support one another through the worst. The play is alternately hilarious and touching with six female characters that are delicate as magnolias yet as strong as steel.

All plays are works in progress and allow audience members to experience the development of new work for potential world premiere productions in future seasons.

HAMILTON at Dallas Summer Musicals Announces #HAM4HAM Lottery

Producer Jeffrey Seller, Dallas Summer Musicals, and Broadway Across America announce a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show's first performance (April 2) at Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas.  Forty (40) tickets will be sold for every performance for $10 each.  The digital lottery will open at 11:00 AM CT on Sunday, March 31 for tickets to the Tuesday, April 2 performance.  Subsequent digital lotteries will begin two days prior to each performance.

The McCammon Voice Competition in collaboration with Fort Worth Opera is pleased to present Angela Meade in recital on Monday, May 6 at 7:00 pm at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden Auditorium. This intimate concert marks the eagerly-anticipated return of this world-renowned soprano to Fort Worth after winning first prize in the 2005 McCammon Voice Competition. Ms. Meade will be accompanied on piano by Fort Worth Opera Artistic Director and Conductor, Joe Illick. The evening's diverse program will consist of celebrated arias and art songs by Bellini, Meyerbeer, Korngold, and Strauss.
