The Olivier Award-winning comedy, The Play That Goes Wrong, is celebrating its 10th anniversary on the West End at the Duchess Theatre. Recently, we had the chance to speak with the writers of the show, Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer and Henry Shields on what it is like to be celebrating this anniversary!

The original cast of The Play That Goes Wrong will reunite for 2 weeks only to perform the production to UK audiences for the first time in over 5 years. Performances run at Opera House Manchester, 30 May – 4 June 2022, and Theatre Royal Newcastle, 6 – 11 June 2022 as part of the current UK tour.  

Mischief has released a brand new trailer for the Olivier Award-winning box office hit The Play That Goes Wrong, the longest running comedy in the West End that’s currently blundering through its eighth catastrophic year at the Duchess Theatre. 

I stepped into the audition room for The Play That Goes Wrong with trepidation. It was my first in person audition since 2020 and my nerves were on edge. In preparation, I remember reading and re-reading the script and there were moments I literally could not stop howling with laughter (every time!). I’d never seen the show and I decided not to see it as I wanted to go into the room with no biases.
