Sardi’s To Close Temporarily As Shubert Organization Acquires Theatre District Landmark

Sardi’s, the historic Theatre District restaurant known for its celebrity caricatures, will temporarily close for renovations after being acquired by the Shubert Organization. The landmark venue is expected to reopen later this year with upgrades to infrastructure and new management. The restaurant has served as a central hub for the Broadway community since 1927.
