Four of Broadway’s ten longest running musicals are currently on the boards: Chicago, The Lion King, Wicked, and The Book of Mormon. One, The Phantom of the Opera, closed in 2023 after attaining the title of longest running Broadway show of all time.  But what about Broadway’s longest running plays?

The Fabulous Fox has announced the Golden Snitch Digital Lottery for the upcoming engagement of HARRY POTTER AND THE CURSED CHILD, hosted on the Lucky Seat digital lottery platform.

Several young performers have joined the cast of the HBO Harry Potter series as Hogwarts students. Among the new additions are stage alums Cian Eagle-Service, Jazmyn Lewin and Laila Barwick. 

When award-winning actress Laura Kay Bailey (Crime 101 with Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo, TERF) auditioned to play the world's most famous children's author for an Edinburgh Fringe show, little did she know it would change her life.

The North American tour of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is playing at The Fabulous Fox. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the first Harry Potter story to be presented on stage and the eighth story in the Harry Potter series.

After ten years in the West End as a two-part theatrical event, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will evolve into a  single performance-format. The production will move to the version of the show currently performed by companies around the globe, including the Broadway production in New York City.

Hans Zimmer and Bleeding Fingers will compose a new score for the HBO Original Harry Potter series, debuting in 2027 on HBO and HBO Max. As a group, they will be the fifth group of songwriters to score the Harry Potter stories onscreen.

Performances begin tonight, Tuesday, November 11th for the new Broadway company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at New York's Lyric Theatre, with original film star Tom Felton joining the casat.

Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta will welcome the first-ever touring production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child to the Fox Theatre for its Atlanta premiere engagement from February 28 to March 15, 2026.
