New Village Arts will produce the San Diego Regional Premiere of MATT & BEN, the two-handed, fast-paced comedy that imagines a wildly fictionalized origin story for Hollywood's favorite writing duo: Matt Damon & Ben Affleck.

Sony Pictures Classics has acquired the worldwide rights to the latest film from Tom McCarthy, the award-winning filmmaker behind Spotlight and The Visitor. Currently untitled, the film is set to begin production at the end of February.

Actress Teyana Taylor will be honored with the Vanguard Spotlight Award, and costume designer and Michelle Cole will receive the Career Achievement Award at the 28th CDGA (Costume Designers Guild Awards).

Kiss of the Spider Woman – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is now available on CD. The album was released in streaming and digital platforms last month and will be available on Friday, December 19.

MATT & BEN, by Mindy Kaling and Brenda Withers, will return to the city-directed by Rosie Corr and starring Julie Sandler and Will Tway. Learn more about the production here!
