National Dance Day West Coast Celebration Announced at the Segerstrom Center For The Arts

Segerstrom Center for the Arts will be hosting the 5th annual National Dance Day (NDD) in partnership with American Dance Movement (ADM). The Center will be teaming up with The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and The Raymond F. Kravis Center in a variety of official celebrations and community events across the country for this year's National Dance Day.

As the month of March is drawing near, Segerstrom Center for the Arts is excited to announce a full line-up of events to be held on the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Since opening in October 2017, Segerstrom Center has welcomed over 100,000 visitors to Argyros Plaza at nearly 360 free and low-cost events.

Toronto's Coal Mine Theatre, in association with Eclipse Theatre Company and Kliffer Entertainment, have convened an all-star cast led by Chilina Kennedy for a four-day reading and invitation-only showcase for potential producers and presenters of Ted Dykstra's epic musical EVANGELINE, February 28 at The Actors Temple in New York City.
PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL to Feature In Display At Planet Hollywood

A new display has opened at Planet Hollywood Times Square (1540 Broadway) honoring the late director Garry Marshall, which features special artifacts from the original workshop of the Broadway hit PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, now playing to sold out crowds at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre (208 W 41st Street). These artifacts include Garry Marshall's blue script binder he used on every film, his notebook from the first workshop and reading of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, and the original A-camera slate from the PRETTY WOMAN film, among other items. This special display will remain open until September 2019.
