New casting has been announced for Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA at His Majesty's Theatre from Monday 31 July 2023. THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is currently booking until Saturday 2 March 2024.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Andrew Lloyd Webber's The Phantom of the Opera will open for the first time in Italy at Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia in Trieste on 4th July 2023. Additional casting has now been announced, including Earl Carpenter as Monsieur Andre and Bradley Jaden as Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny.

Current Phantom of the Opera star Ben Crawford will be out of the show for the final Broadway performance. Longtime Phantom Laid Mackintosh will step into the role this evening.

The longest-running Broadway show of all time, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will play its final New York performance at The Majestic Theatre today, Sunday, April 16 at 5PM, after a record-breaking 35 years and 13,981 performances to 20 million people. The long-running West End production of The Phantom of the Opera and the revival of Disney's Mary Poppins have announced that they will reduce their standard 8 shows per week schedule to 6 shows per week.

Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh announced today that Emilie Koutachou will take over the principal role of ‘Christine Daaé’ in the New York production of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA on the night that the musical celebrates its unprecedented 34th Anniversary on Wednesday evening, January 26 at 7PM.

For three already sold-out performances, Broadway star Michele McConnell will appear with the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus (PSGMC), in the chorus's holiday show, SPARKLE, TWINKLE, JINGLE!, at the Palm Springs Art Museum's Annenberg Theater. Performances will take place Friday and Saturday, December 10th & 11th at 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 12th at 3 p.m.

The New York return of The Phantom of the Opera is on the horizon and to celebrate the production's return, the show's legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Webber stopped by rehearsal.
