The recently reimagined tour of iconic musical THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is in the middle of its stop at Orlando's brand new Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Last week, after their first preview performance, stars Katie Travis (Christine Daaé), Jacquelynne Fontaine (Carlotta Giudicelli), and Frank Viveros (Ubaldo Piangi) sat down with media to discuss the changes made to the show, the gorgeous Walt Disney Theatre, and being a part of the "Phantom Phamily." Check out the video.
BroadwayWorld has extensive coverage of the PHANTOM tour stop; in my review of the production, I admit that it eliminated most of the hatred I felt for the show over the last 16 years. We also have exclusive photos of the show's iconic costumes and chandelier, and tomorrow my fellow editor, Kimberly Moy, and I will discuss the production from our very different perspectives.
There are eight performances remaining before PHANTOM leaves The City Beautiful on Sunday, December 14th. To purchase your tickets to this exciting production of The Phantom of the Opera, visit the Dr. Phillips Center's website, or call 844-513-2014.
