Berkeley's acclaimed Aurora Theatre Company(Artistic Director Tom Ross) announces today the six plays that will comprise the theatre's 28th season, beginning with the Bay Area Premiere of Ike Holter's energetic drama, EXIT STRATEGY. The Bay Area premiere of Bryna Turner's BULL IN A CHINA SHOP follows. Lucy Kirkwood's recent Broadway hit THE CHILDREN will kick off the new year as a West Coast Premiere, followed by Joe Orton's classic LOOT in a production honoring the playwright's unseen and uncensored version. KEVIN HEFFERNAN (writer, actor, producer, director) is one fifth of the Broken Lizard Comedy Group. Heffernan co-starred and co-wrote the cult hits, Super Troopers, Puddle Cruiser, Club Dread, Beerfest, Broken Lizard Stands Up & the recently released success Super Troopers 2. He made his directorial debut on the Broken Lizard film, The Slammin' Salmon. In addition to Broken Lizard films, Heffernan co-wrote and co-starred in the film remake of The Dukes of Hazzard. He has starred in such films as Sky High, Strange Wilderness and The Babymakers. And has appeared on such TV shows as Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Goldbergs, VEEP, How I Met Your Mother& Workaholics. He is currently the creator, star & director of the upcoming series Tacoma FD for the TruTV Network premiering March 28th, 2019. Kevin also tours the country performing stand up. His first concert special, Fat Man Little Boy, premiered on Netflix in 2013. His second, Below The Belt premiered on Comedy Central in 2016. And he just filmed his latest, The Potential Farewell Tour, releasing in December 2018. He has a weekly podcast with Steve Lemme called Chewin' it w/ Kevin & Steve.

A supernumerary (usually referred to as a "super") contributes their time and talent to the production by acting in a non-speaking/non-singing role, similar to being an extra in a movie.
