- April 23, 2020 Chamber Dance Project (CDP), Washington's foremost contemporary ballet company, is harnessing creative uses of technology to prepare for its coming New Works 2020 season. Chamber Dance Project has introduced “Get Closer to the Art—Virtual Chat Series,” free Zoom sessions that are taking place at 5 p.m. every Tuesday. Attendees at the sessions will get a behind-the-scenes look as choreographer and dancers and designers talk and show their craft as well as look at period of ballet history in slides and music and video.

- April 14, 2020 The José Limón Dance Foundation is has announced the appointment of Dante Puleio as its new Artistic Director. A widely respected former member of the Limón Dance Company for more than a decade, Puleio will succeed Colin Connor on July 1, 2020 to become only the sixth Artistic Director in the Company's 74-year history. Puleio trained at the Laban Centre in London, the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in Leeds, UK and received his BFA from University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
