Lea Salonga To Tour Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne In November 2019

Tony and Olivier Award-winner, 'Disney Legend' and musical theatre royalty Lea Salonga announces she will be returning to Australia in November 2019 for an east coast tour. Lea Salonga: In Concert will, for the first time, take to the QPAC stage in Brisbane and will return to Sydney and Melbourne, following her previous sold-out concert tour. Known for her powerhouse vocals and perfect pitch, Lea is a best known for her West End and Broadway roles in Les Miserables and Miss Saigon, as well as being the singing voice for two Disney Princesses in the animated classics Aladdin and Mulan. Globally, Lea has sold a phenomenal 19 million albums.

This March Labour Day weekend, visitors are invited to enjoy String Symphony, a free interactive performance installation where children and families bring to life a giant illuminated puppet called Leor under Arts Centre Melbourne's iconic spire. Using more than a kilometre of rope, the four-metre handwoven giant festooned with 600 LED lights will be animated by 'a symphony of people' consisting of 12 participants and four performers.
