Janet Krupin (Born October 7, 1987) is an American actress and singer. She is most known for her musical theatre performances and as the original host of the popular web-show "The Click Clique".
Janet was born in Kennewick, Washington and grew up in the northwest. She was onstage frequently in community theatres and trained with a classical voice teacher. She is a five-time gold medalist at the Northwest Music Festival. In 2010, Janet was awarded "LA's Next Great Stage Star" as well as StageSceneLA's "Breakthrough Star of the Year".
After graduating from the University of Southern California with a major in Cinematic Arts ï¿½ Critical Studies and a double minor in Musical Theatre and Philosophy, Janet was immediately cast in a brand new project, "Bring It On: The Musical". Janet plays the role of Kylar. The show is lead by a creative team including Lin-Manuel Miranda, Andy Blankenbuehler and Alex Lacamoire (all three of "In The Heights" fame), written by Jeff Whitty (Avenue Q), with music by Tom Kitt (Next to Normal) and lyrics by Amanda Green (High Fidelity). The show is currently on a North American tour.
Janet also performs in cabarets. Her first solo show, "Rhapsody in New" took place at Sterling's Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City to rave reviews and a sold out crowd.
Janet now lives in Los Angeles.
