Written and directed by Nathan Catucci, Impossible Monsters will have its theatrical release in New York at the Cinema Village and in Los Angeles at the Laemmle Monica Film Center on Friday, February 14, 2020. Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, acquired Worldwide rights to the film. Nick Royak of Gravitas Ventures negotiated the deal with Glen Reynolds of Circus Road Films on behalf of the filmmakers. The film will be released on various Video On Demand platforms in North America, UK and Australia, and worldwide on Vimeo on March 3, 2020.

Today, SHOWTIME announced it will air OUTCRY, a five-part documentary series examining the gripping story of high school football star Greg Kelley, his controversial conviction and the quest for truth and justice as the case unfolds.

Kevin Kwan, author of Crazy Rich Asians, will take the stage at Irvine Barclay Theatre on February 6 as part of the venue's new speaker series, Fresh Take. Kwan, along with Tony-winning Ain't Misbehavin', Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval and others, highlight the variety of spring performances at Irvine Barclay Theatre. Today's guest, Michael Zegen, can currently be seen starring on the critically acclaimed Amazon series 'The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel' created by Amy Sherman-Palladino. Asolo Rep proudly kicks off its winter repertory season with Agatha Christie's MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS. The classic edge-of-your-seat murder mystery will be brought to the stage with a new adaptation by two-time Tony Award-winning master of farce Ken Ludwig and directed by Asolo Rep Associate Artist Peter Amster. MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS previews January 8 and 9, opens January 10 and runs in rotating repertory through March 8 in the Mertz Theatre, located in the FSU Center for the Performing Arts. 

Some may doubt that a stage adaptation of the terrifically inventive, romantic, and witty 1998 film, 'Shakespeare in Love,' could possibly succeed. However, Connecticut Repertory Theatre's current production, expertly directed by Vincent Tycer and acted by a vibrant, masterful cast, proves that setting this story--which is about theater, after all--in an actual theater, creates a magic all its own. This production is, without a doubt, 'a hit! a palpable hit!'

Writer/director Alec Tibaldi's feature film debut the powerful coming of age drama 'Spiral Farm,”  starring Piper De Palma (daughter of iconic film director Brian De Palma) in her breakout feature film debut has been acquired by independent film champion Indican Pictures for a theatrical release in multiple markets beginning on December 13th, 2019 with a VOD/Digital/DVD release to follow.

Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAS) and Entertainment One Ltd. (LSE: ETO) (eOne) today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Hasbro will acquire eOne in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately '3.3 billion or US$4.0 billion. Under the terms of the agreement, eOne shareholders will receive '5.60 in cash for each common share of eOne, which represents a 31% premium to eOne's 30-day volume weighted average price (VWAP) as of August 22, 2019.

The Story So Far are premiering a very special music video for 'If I Fall' today. Filmed while the band was in Japan on tour earlier this year, this music video was shot entirely on Super 16 and Super 8 Film over a 10 day period. Director Eric Soucy used a handheld windup camera that could only shoot 23 seconds at a time, filming from 7am until well into the evening. The results are a captivating visual story of frontman Parker Cannon journeying through places like Golden Gai, Shinjuku, Shibuya crossing, Philosophers Path and the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest.
