Each year, the Phoenix Rock Lottery features a lineup of musicians from diverse backgrounds and musical styles. These musicians deliver a totally unique experience for fans due to the unpredictable nature of the event. The participating musicians show up on the morning of the Rock Lottery each year with no idea who they will be in a band with, what style of music they will play, or what songs they will perform, since the songs will be written that day.

Laura Osnes and Norm Lewis to Join Seth Rudetsky Concert Series At Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts

Producer Mark Cortale and Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts have announced that The Seth Rudetsky Concert Series, hosted and music directed by Sirius XM radio star Seth Rudetsky, will return to Scottsdale for the 2020 season. Kicking off the series this season will be Laura Osnes, Tony Award® nominee for her leading roles in Cinderella and Bonnie and Clyde on Broadway, and star on TV of Hallmark Channel's A Homecoming for the Holidays, on Friday, January 24 at 8:00 PM. She will be followed by Tony Award® nominated actor Norm Lewis, best known for his performances in Porgy and Bess and The Phantom of the Opera and on Television in Scandal and Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert!, on Friday, March 6 at 8:00 PM.
Musical Theatre Of Anthem Receives Virginia Piper Grant

Musical Theatre of Anthem is ecstatic to announce the award of a $57,000 grant from Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust for the purchase of upgraded audio, lighting and microphone equipment! The funds will be used to purchase a more sophisticated and unified system that will function properly to match the new theatre location which has a 110 seat auditorium. The new equipment will increase the professionalism of our productions and ensure that the performers can be heard clearly.
